This picture reminds me of my great grandmothers house in New Hartford, Iowa, IMAGINE those who dwelt in this home and the life that once sought shelter there. If you look closely, in the door way, you can see a ghost of time past,look....a lively homestead filled with voices of those now no more. And look the beautiful cast shadow dancing over the pristine white snow. You see. there is still life there. Thanks for posting the great photo.
