David and I had spoken of taking a winter drive in his jeep. I am not a morning person nor tolerant of the cold, so when he mentioned a morning photo shoot, I was hoping for another day. However...when I woke on this morning, I stated, "looks like we are taking pictures today"! Frost was covering everything! We were able to capture so many beautiful scenes! This was the first image taken just three miles from my home near Peterson Iowa.
I have created many fine art images of barns. I feel by photographing a barn....I am preserving its memory in a small way. Many of the Barns shown here are no longer standing.
